Totally agree that tikTok holds many more cards than most realize. On China. I have done deals there consistently since 1997 (RealNames built Chinese Language Web Addresses). China really has not banned most of these companies - if any. What it has done is asked them to work within Chinese Law. They have refused and in some cases were blocked. In others they opted out (Google). There is a more nuanced discussion to be had about China.
